For the last 15 years, I have worked in various capacities within the fashion design industry—in Denmark, Iceland and the United Kingdom—for brands such as Peter Jensen, 66˚North and Nike. I have styled music videos and photo shoots for bands such as Samaris and Of Monsters and Men, as well as for the Reykjavík Grapevine, Iceland's English-language newspaper.
In 2017, I founded By Petra Bender, a unique clothing brand specialising in rugged outer wear that is inspired by Icelandic nature and mysticism.
